Baikal Ethnic Hostel is located in suburb of Ulan-Ude on the bank of Selega river 15 minutes drive from the airport and city downtown.

Our hostel’s convenient location gives possibility of visiting main sightseeings, such as Ivolginsky datsan, Hunnu (Huns) tombs, Odigitriyevsky cathedral, Old-Believers’ ethno-complex and other cultural and historical places of Transbaikalia region.

Our hostel is represented with a 3-storey comfortable country-house with 6 bedrooms, big well-equipped kitchen, video-room with fireplace and mini-bar, balcony with Ulan-Ude city panorama. Shared shower and toilet are on every floor.

There is a summer-house, garage for several cars and an open parking, big Russian banya (sauna) with a lounge and a barbecue brazier.

You can have good time fishing or at bonfire on the bank of Selenga river, which flows 300 meters from the hostel. Backpackers can put a tent on the riverbank.

Our staff is always ready to render you assistance 24 hours a day in having a rest in our hostel.

We also offer inexpensive tours to Lake Baikal and around Buryatia.
